Writing pitched at the level of origin stories, where characters become archetypes and events explain the world, not just the plot. Genealogies, epithets, and ritual repetition are its tools.

Don't confuse it with Allusion. Allusion borrows an existing myth; mythopoesis manufactures the mythic register itself.
